I write this on behalf of the Robinson family, Marion, Teddy, David and myself, Susan, remembering Peter, our wonderful family friend and special Godparent to James. Peter and Marie became our good friends as soon as they moved to Clitheroe, when Peter was the Head Teacher at St James School and my Mum was Secretary. My Dad and Peter shared a love of all things garden related, spending many a happy hour either gardening together or talking in great detail about plants, surrounded by gardening books. A special annual trip for Peter, Marie, Mum and Dad being a most enjoyable day at the Southport Flower Show. Peter, Dad and David all sang bass in the Church Choir on special occasions, and there was often more laughing than singing I can tell you. Peter and I had many deep and thought provoking conversations over a cup of coffee and I owe much to him for teaching me sound, Christian values and morals. Peter, you will be with Marie and Mum, Dad and David now and you will all be laughing I’m sure. - you with that special twinkle in your eye that you always had.
